Stack
All the foreign language divisions and few Indian languages divisions
(Hindi, Kashmiri, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Telugu and Urdu),
maintain their own stacks. English works and other Indian language
books are stacked separately. Stack division is responsible for
the maintenance of this stack. The responsibility of the stack
division includes keeping the books in order and tidy, supplying
them to the reading room and lending division to provide them
to the readers. Minor repairs and binding and re-labelling of
books are also done in the stack division. |
